Symptoms

  • Candidate bar jumps to the corner: enable follow-cursor or turn off compatibility mode for that app;
  • First character swallowed: disable fast input and advanced rendering, then update;
  • No candidates in web forms: reload, use compatibility mode or check browser extensions.

Order of action

  1. Update the input method;
  2. Toggle Compatibility Mode under Settings → Advanced;
  3. Disable browser extensions one by one;
  4. Repair the installation if it persists.
