Uninstall

  1. Export your user dictionary and custom phrases first;
  2. Windows: Settings → Apps → Sogou → Uninstall; Mac: delete the app and remove it from input sources;
  3. Reboot and check the system input list.

Cleaning up

  • Delete the config folder in your user directory (only if you are not reinstalling);
  • Remove Sogou from the system input list;
  • Set another IME as the default.

Note

Uninstalling does not affect documents you already typed; import your backup if you reinstall later.
