Install and enable

  1. Install the official APK or find Sogou Input Method in your app store;
  2. Open it and follow the wizard to System Settings → Languages & Input → Manage Keyboards;
  3. Turn Sogou on and set it as the default input method.

Permissions

  • Voice input needs microphone access;
  • Clipboard and quick phrases are enabled inside the app;
  • Review permissions under Settings → Privacy.

Tips

In Input Settings choose the 9-key or full keyboard and enable swipe typing plus smart correction for a noticeable speed boost.
